The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a
large mini fridge that easily held all our snacks. However, one of the pillows had a noticeable stain, which was concerning. The staff were very accommodating, making our stay more pleasant. Overall, it was a decent visit.

The gazebo is poorly maintained!!! Grounds lack attention and give off a run-down appearance!!! The outside of the building with flaking paint needs a refresh too!!! Towels were subpar, which is disappointing!!!

The location is stunning, and the view of the lake is beautiful. The pool was clean and well-maintained, perfect for a swim before hitting the road again.

Had a fantastic time with friends at this motel! The pool was perfect for relaxing after visiting nearby campgrounds and exploring local parks. The owners were super friendly, making our stay even better. If you’re there, don’t miss out on fishing by the lake!
One downside was an encounter with a rude guy while trying to walk my dog down to the lake. There weren’t any signs indicating private property, so it was quite frustrating.

The quaint and antique decor had a charming, nostalgic vibe. Additionally, the comfortable layout of rooms included separate areas that made it easy for me to relax and access what I needed, which is wonderful for seniors.
A cleaner outdoor area would enhance the stay.

The family room was really spacious with a nice mini fridge. Towels had stains, which was disappointing. Close access to the lake for fishing added some fun to the stay.

Just an ideal choice for a date night in Clearlake with high value for money. Enjoyed having a large mini fridge that fit all our snacks perfectly. Bring a cozy blanket if you plan to sit outside.

I had a great experience at the Lamplighter just by chance. The room layout impressed me—separate rooms with doors and plenty of space. Each area had dressers and desks, which made it feel really comfortable. The mini fridge was large, and the microwave added to the convenience. The beds were super comfortable, which was perfect after a long day. I enjoyed the clean surroundings and the kindness of the staff. However, the location of my room wasn't ideal. I expected a lake view but found myself at the opposite end, close to the highway, which took away from the experience a bit. There was only one chair on the balcony outside to sit and enjoy the view. The parking area had a noticeable number of people coming and going, which might be distracting for some, although it didn’t bother me personally. It’s worth noting that even though I paid the same for my stay, I heard others paid less for similar accommodations. That seemed a bit off. Overall, I did appreciate the effort that went into keeping the facility clean and the space accommodating, just a couple of tweaks would make it even better!

The room layout is fantastic with separate areas and a microwave! Super clean, I felt like royalty. The mini fridge was a sweet bonus, perfect for my snacks!
But seriously, if I wanted a bug safari, I’d buy a ticket to the Amazon! And don't get me started on the whole towel situation—what do they need a bleach factory for, anyway?

The Family Room was awesome! Super spacious with separate areas and a love seat! Each room had dressers and desks. A large mini fridge and microwave. Beds were really comfy. Only downside was I expected a lake view but ended up near the highway, which was a bit loud. Definitely felt clean and well-kept though!
